Are any of your cupcakes suitable for vegetarians?
A vast majority of all our cupcakes are suitable for vegetarians. The following cupcakes are not suitable for vegetarians:
- Rocky Road, which contains kosher fish gelatine
- Cupcakes decorated with a sugar paste rose
- Vanilla Cupcakes decorated with red heart sprinkles
Are your cupcakes suitable for people with nut allergies?
All of our cupcakes are baked in the same bakery so it's possible that they may contain small traces of nuts. If you would like your cupcakes containing nuts packed separately please get in touch with our cupcake specialists when placing your order.
Our Rocky Road, Wheat Free Red Velvet, Carrot, Rosewater and Pistachio, Chocolate Hazelnut, Caramel Macadamia Nut and Peanut Butter cupcakes contain pieces of nuts. For a full list of allergens, please click here
Do you sell any Vegan cupcakes?
We sure do! We offer a range of Vegan cupcakes & cakes that can be found by clicking here. Please note our Vegan cupcakes do not contain any dairy or eggs.
I’m a Celiac; do you sell wheat free cupcakes/cakes for me?
Yes, we bake a delicious wheat free Red Velvet cupcake/cake and Wheat Free Vegan Chocolate Cupcake/cake. Our stores regularly stock a small selection of the Vegan/Wheat free cupcakes. As the numbers for these products are limited, it’s recommended to call ahead and pre-order these items.
Do you sell wheat free cakes in your shops and on-line?
Yes, we bake a delicious wheat free Red Velvet cupcake and Wheat Free Vegan Chocolate Cupcake.
How much notice do I need to give to place an order?
Cupcake orders must be placed by midday, one working day in advance. However, if you'd like to collect from our Canary Wharf or Bluewater store, please allow an extra 24 hours. Should you require a last minute order, please call our cupcake specialists on 0208 963 5757 and we will always try our best to help. We may have something available last minute, or will point you in the direction of the nearest store that may have the cupcakes/cake you’d like.
Can I place an order for the same day delivery/collection?
Yes, we offer a same day delivery service from the following stores:

- Lola’s Brent-X (North London) – 0208 202 8970

Do you deliver?
Yes, we deliver across London and prices are based on postcode, starting from £12.50. Please click here for more information, or to get a quote for a specific address.
What happens if I need to amend my order?
Should you like to change your order, we require 24 hours notice for cupcake orders and 48 hours notice for cake orders.
I haven't received my confirmation email?
If you haven't received your confirmation email by the end of the same day as your order was placed, please contact us and we can re-send this out to you!
I've noticed an error in my order confirmation email. What should I do?
If you have noticed something that isn't exactly as you ordered in your confirmation, don't panic!
You can sign into your LOLA's account and click in the top right hand corner for the tab 'Previous orders', here you will find your order which you can click into and amend before 48 hours you are due to collect.
Alternatively, you can contact us on 0208 963 5757 and we will happily amend this for you if possible.
I have a customised order in mind, can you bake this for me?
As we are not a bespoke bakery, we are unable to cater to specific requests. We have designed our new website to be as flexible as possible and allow you to select and choose from thousands of different options.
If you have a theme in mind, we are always able to offer our highly popular edible image service. An image of your choice can be printed on to sugar paper, placed on a fondant disc and is able to go on to the majority of our cakes and cupcakes. What do I need to bring along when collecting my order?
You will be asked to present your order confirmation (digital/hard copy) when collecting your order. If someone is collecting the order on your behalf, please ensure they have a copy of this with them.
What happens if I'm out when you deliver?
We will contact you and request permission to leave your order with a neighbour or local address. Should we be unable to get in touch with you, the order will be brought back to our bakery. Our Cupcake Specialists will then get in touch, and arrange for the order to be re-delivered (costs incurred) or we can arrange for you to collect from a store of your choice. If all else fails we will enjoy your cupcakes!!!
GETTING YOUR CAKES HOME AND KEEPING THEM SWEET...
How should I store my cakes/cupcakes?
We recommend you enjoy all of our products within 48 hours of purchase - we very much doubt in most homes or offices they will last much longer anyway!! If you're planning to eat your cupcakes on the day, keep them cool and dry.
We recommend our Cakes are stored in a fridge for up to 48 hours but leave them out for between 2-4 hours, depending on size, before you tuck in.
How do I get my cakes / cupcakes home If I am collecting from one of your stores?
Some of our cakes can weigh up to 6.5kg. Due to their size and weight we are unable to provide carrier bags for our Picture gallery cakes, Numbers cakes, 11 inch heart and 12 inch square sized (Party Cakes and Layer Cakes).
Wherever possible, we would suggest bringing a travelling companion with you, opting for a home delivery, bringing your car or arranging a taxi to help

What do I do if I’m unhappy with my order/purchase (returns policy)
Our aim has always been to provide our customers with a fantastic product and great service, but from time to time, things don’t always go as planned.
If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please get in touch with our cupcake specialists. Where possible we’d like the product returned to one of our stores providing proof of purchase.
If you’ve had an encounter in one of our stores, and hoped it had been better, just let us know when and where you visited.
We aim to respond to all queries as promptly as possible, and will seek to refund a purchase if we feel it wasn’t up to our standards, or issue a gift voucher that you can redeem in one of our stores.
Please do get in touch if you were not satisfied, we are always eager to improve the way we do things, and its only through growing a relationship with our customers that we can continue to improve, and create even better tasting cupcakes and cakes!
