How much notice do I need to give to place an order?
Orders must be placed by 3pm, the day before your collection or delivery. However there are some restrictions and this is subject to our bakery capacity. During busy periods, we may not be able to fulfil next day orders.
1. Fantasy cakes, party cakes, posh cakes, cheesecakes, Hampers and balloons need to be ordered by 3 pm, 2 days before collection or delivery. For instance order on Monday before 3pm for delivery on Wednesday.
2. The next day delivery service is not currently available to the Birmingham area.
We also take orders in advance, just follow the normal ordering process and select the date in the future you want your order to be ready (up to 6 months). After placing the order, just sit & relax, we will take care of the rest.
Can I place an order for the same day delivery/collection?
At present, we are not offering same day collection on any of our items. However our stores hold a good stock of cupcakes + cakes everyday, and some of our store can arrange a same day delivery service (Mayfair/Canary Wharf/Brent Cross)
What happens if I need to amend my order?
Should you like to change your order, we require 48 hours’ notice.
Changes can be made by logging into your account on our website and amending your order.
If you can’t find information on the changes you’d like to make, please contact our cupcake hotline: 0330 058 95 25
What do I need to bring along when collecting my order?
You will be asked to present your order confirmation (either on your mobile or with a paper copy) when collecting your order. If someone is collecting the order on your behalf, please ensure they have a copy of this with them.
What happens if I'm out when you deliver?
If you’re unavailable to receive your delivery, we will contact you and request permission to leave your order with a neighbour or local address.
Should we be unable to get in touch with you, the order will be brought back to our bakery.
Our Cupcake Specialists will then get in touch, and arrange for the order to be re-delivered (costs incurred) or if you’d like to collect from one of our stores that can also be arranged.

I’m a Celiac; do you sell wheat free cupcakes/cakes for me?
We produce our gluten free cakes in a separate part of our factory. Processes and training are in place to ensure that our cakes are gluten free. Gluten free describes foods that contain gluten at a level of no more than 20 parts per million (ppm). All our cakes and brownies are prepared in a kitchen where other cross contamination risks may occur. Full allergen information is available upon request. If you have a question, food allergy or intolerance please let us know before placing your order.
Storage Instructions
We recommend you enjoy all of our products within 48 hours of purchase - we very much doubt in most homes or offices they will last much longer anyway! If you're planning to eat your cupcakes or cake on the day, keep them cool and dry.
Our cakes can be enjoyed for up to 48 hours when refrigerated, but in order to have your best Lola’s experience, we suggest giving them at least three hours (longer if the cake is larger) to stand at room temperature before indulging.
What’s the best way to slice my cake?
If you’ve ordered a Fantasy Cake, we’d suggest cutting a regular cake slice like you would another cake, placing the slice on its side and dividing this into equal portions.
For Giant Cupcakes, it’s best to cut the entire cake in half, place it on its side and then cut the cake into cubed slices.
Please be aware because of the size of these cakes there is a wooden dowel through the centre of the sponges to keep the cake upright, please ensure this is removed before slicing.
How do I get my cakes home If I am collecting from one of your stores ?
Some of our cakes can weigh up to 6.5kg. Wherever possible, if you have ordered one of our larger cakes, we would suggest bringing someone to help you. Alternatively, you can opt for home delivery.
